Give The Practice A Shape
Choose one ball skill, one movement or stop, and one way to finish. A short plan removes the pressure to invent a new exercise every time.
Praise The Attempt
A child may use the weaker hand badly for a while before it becomes useful. Notice the attempt and the choice to keep control, not only the result.
Use The Space You Have
A hoop is useful but not required for every session. Ball handling, passing to a wall and footwork can all be practised in a safe small space.
